Entering Empyrean


I am calling it a success..... Pulled in the landscape using World Composer.  Added a Controller - and accidently added a third-person controller that uses the input but doesn't follow the camera - it was quite entertaining to see other 'people' running around the map with me.

I redid a bunch of texturing as the tiling of those generated were never going to work.... nor did I ever expect them to - its not a one-to-one scale of the real-world data.

I added a "Crystal Sea" using the Aquas water asset as well as Enviro Lighting and an Ambient Sound pack. 

The Spawn point is in the small island in the foreground of this image.... the play path is to circle around the lsland to the left, cross over to the mainland, Travel to its "East"-most point, and then return via flight of the Cherub to the bridge  towards the North - getting an Ariel view of all the accomplished areas you've played through.

There is even a little console and bridge between the first island, the Isle of the Blessed - along with the console to enable it.... though that puzzle hasn't been worked out. In the City Brittia on this island is a book-of-memories, which you will need to find to solve the Bridge puzzle to continue the journey.

Even with this much progress I still feel behind a bit. I've already cut from the project things I had in mind from the pre-planning , but you can see from earlier devlog posts that I already knew this going it.

That's quite a bit, so that's it for now.... there is still a crazy ton of stuff to do!!!
